After the day`s activities may well have taken their toll, a nice evening out in the romantically lit centre is often just what you need. There are hundreds of varieties of Belgian beer to be discovered and there is frequent live entertainment at various venues throughout the city.

Beer brasserie Cambrinus

No less than 400 beers as well as some great beer-inspired cooking. The traditional interior only adds to a great night out!

B-IN bar and restaurant

An evening with great music, drinks and food in a hip environment. Weather allowing, enjoy the superb waterfront terrace! Nearly always stays open (well) into the night.

Cookie`s is situated in the smallest street of Bruges, where one simply returns in jazzy times.

Restaurant De Nisse

In the historical city centre, yet far from all the noise, you will find restaurant De Nisse. Surrounded by a magnificent historic setting, located on the inner marina Coupure, you can relax while enjoying a delicious meal.

Restaurant De Nisse has a rich history, dating back to the 16th century. Along with a few other houses, it dominates the streetview. Traditional Flemish Restaurant `De Vlaamsche Pot`

Enjoy typical Flemish cooking, with dishes ranging from hearty stews to the famous mussels and chips, all in a very cosy atmosphere.

In the afternoon, waffles and pancakes are served too and special menus and condtions are available to groups, the restaurant can seat as many as 200. Their online presence tells you much more about what`s on offer.

Bistro Pro Deo

This cosy aptly named, small restaurant is located opposite of the Bruges courthouse. 

Here you can have a lovely diner for two or more by candlelight and with groovy Jazz and Soul music.

500 year old pub.

This old inn dates back to the 16th century, making it one of the oldest in the lowlands that is still open to the public.

Amongst the charming authentic interior, light meals are served. For a large part of the year, weather allowing, visitors can enjoy one of the city`s nicest beer gardens. Their (mostly Dutch language) online presence can be found here.
