Brussels South Charleroi Airport

Mainly low-cost airlines from Europe land here. From here you can take the direct Flibco shuttle bus to Bruges. There are 9 rides per day to and from Bruges.

Ostend-Bruges Airport

From this smaller airport you can easily travel to Bruges as well. It only takes you 15 minutes to get to the Ostend train station, where there are at least 3 trains per hour to Bruges.

City buses

When you arrive at Bruges' train station, you can easily take a local city bus or taxi to the centre or your hotel. A bus ticket (one way) is valid for 1 hour and costs €3,00.

There are 4 international buses running to and from various cities in Europe.

There are a lot of national and international trains running daily through Belgium and to other European cities. From the important hubs of Antwerp, Ghent, Hasselt, Leuven and Brussels, there are one to four direct trains per hour to Bruges every day.

For international trains, Brussels-South station is the place to be. Several high-speed trains depart and arrive here daily from Paris (Thalys/Izy and TGV), Lille (Eurostar ,TGV, and Thalys), London (Eurostar), Amsterdam (NS InterCity, Thalys, and Eurostar) and Cologne (Thalys and ICE). Three trains per hour depart daily from Brussels-South to Bruges.
From Antwerp-Central, a direct train leaves every hour for Bruges, with Ostend as its destination. If you come from Amsterdam or Rotterdam, you can change trains here.
